Chatham-Kent Real Estate Board (CREA)
The Chatham-Kent Real Estate Board was incorporated in October 1972 as a non profit trade association working on behalf of licensed real estate Brokers and Salespeople authorized to use the trademarks REALTOR and MLS. Originally established to provide an orderly process for the exchange of listing information, it has evolved and expanded to increase public confidence and respect for those engaged in the marketing of real estate in all its aspects. Strong emphasis is placed on helping the members provide quality, professional service to the buying and selling public by:
Promoting and managing a fully computerized internet based inventory of
all properties listed and sold through the Multiple Listing System (MLS)
Creating and scheduling educational opportunities for all licensees
Providing products and services to assist members in the conduct of their business
Promoting, encouraging and protecting the ownership and value of real property
